Dr. Correa completed his Medical Degree at the University of Cartagena. Then he completed a fellowship in Aesthetic Surgery and Trauma and Reconstructive Plastic Surgery at the Ivo Pitanguy Institute (Instituto de Pós-Graduação Médica Carlos Chagas) in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

Having achieved board certification in Plastic Surgery, he moved back to Colombia, where he subsequently opened his private practice in Bogota and Cartagena.
