R: The pre-surgical tests that are frequently requested are hemogram, glycemia, BUN, creatinine, pregnancy test, coagulation tests, breast ultrasound, HIV, COVID PCR test, uroanlysis and electrocardiogram in order to evaluate the patient’s previous condition and ensure that he/she is a candidate for surgery. Some of these are indicated for patients with special health conditions.
Can I have multiple procedures performed in the same surgery?
R: Yes, a maximum of 3 procedures can be performed in the same surgical act, as it happens in the well known Mommy Makeover, in which liposuction + abdominoplasty + breast surgery is performed. Always taking into account the recommendations of the plastic surgery societies.
If I am a foreigner, how many days in advance should I arrive in Colombia?
R: If you reside abroad you must travel to Colombia at least 2 days before your surgical procedure.
What is a Mommy Makeover?
R: A "mommy makeover" is a cosmetic procedure that combines several surgeries to help restore a woman's body after pregnancy and childbirth. It usually includes a combination of procedures such as abdominoplasty, liposuction, breast lift, and other treatments tailored to the patient's needs.
Who are good candidates for a mommy makeover?
R: Women who have had pregnancies and have experienced significant changes in their body, such as abdominal sagging, loss of breast volume or accumulation of fat in specific areas, are good candidates for a mommy makeover. It is important that they are in good general health and have realistic expectations about the results.
Do you have all-inclusive packages?

R: The recovery time after a reduction mammoplasty is approximately two months, however, you can resume your daily activities after 15 days.
What recovery time should I have after a breast pexy?
R: The recovery time after a breast pexy is approximately 2 months, however, you can resume your activities from the week following the procedure.
What recovery time should I have after an abdominoplasty?
R: The recovery time after abdominoplasty is at least 2 months, however, you can return to your daily activities after 20 days.
Recommendations after liposuction
Perform physical exercise after 1 month postoperatively.
Perform at least 20 lymphatic drainages, starting the day after the surgical procedure.
Do not consume foods such as grains and vegetables such as spinach.
Increase consumption of fiber-rich foods such as oatmeal, flaxseed and fruits such as papaya and pitaya.
Do not expose yourself to the sun for at least 1 month.
Make use of the compression garment, the first month for 24 hours a day and from the second month 12 hours a day.
Do not make physical effort, do not lift heavy objects.

R: You are a candidate for reduction mammoplasty when your breast tissue is abundant and you present symptoms such as low back pain. Also if you have sagging breast skin and want to lift your breasts without implants.
